One of my daily Internet activities is to check igoogle and read inspirational quotes of the day from Buddha and Albert Einstein, because I find them full of humor and wisdom.

Here are my favorites as of the moment:

1. “Once you can accept the universe as matter expanding  into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid comes easy.” –Albert Eistein

2. “Hard to hold down, nimble, alighting wherever it likes: the mind. Its taming is good. The mind well-tamed brings ease.” — Buddha

(read more about my thoughts on this quote here)

Daily doses of these aphorisms, surprisingly give me encouragement. The cynicism is still there, but the openness to consider strength in acceptance is stronger and most welcomed.
