from the documentary Zizek, which i am truly enjoying and loving right now. 🙂 i kept on nodding and clapping my hands in glee while watching this film. for some strange reason, i can relate with zizek, especially when he was talking about this constant need for thinkers to distantiate. will write more about this next entry.
thanks ted for the dvds. 🙂

waahhh!!!! pahiram…hehehe diba si johnnypanic meron din zizek pero he went ballistic kay giamigas iya dvd after niya gipahuram?am i right? *evil grin*

note: dili to ako nanghiram hehehe

note to note: dili ko defensive

  2. reefer says:

hahaha. correction: that was MY dvd. and i was the one who went ballistic.

i’ll burn a copy for you dens. malingaw ka nya if malingaw ka kang lacan. 🙂

  3. ted says:

Glad you got the DVDs. When I watch Zizek, though, what actually goes through my mind is: Geez, that guy looks so fat, ugly, and sweaty… he needs to get a bath… I don’t care how smart he is. Ha! That’s the Monica in me. Let him psychoanalyze that!

  4. reefer says:

i think he’s hilarious precisely because of those things you mentioned ted. hehe. and he’s so quirky i find him “clownish,” to use his words.

  5. zizek is so adorable but his theory is astounding . he really did go through a double death.

  6. Cuz says:

I agree with the above comment. If Zizek’s thought is anything, in my opinion it is riveting. I truly enjoy my copy of the feature film Zizek! and have watched it at least 7 or 8 times. Am now slowly reading “The Ticklish Subject,” it is enjoyable and dense.

  7. Yeah I really liked his comment about love being selfish…never really thought of it that way!
