can’t wait to watch cobain

or somebody who plays him.got this from musified macho’s blog. apparently, james mcavoy will be playing kurt cobain in a biopic that courtney love will be producing of which the release date is “the near future.” whenever that is, i can’t wait to see that movie. if you’re a child of the 90s alt scene, you would understand what i’m trying to say here. no need for me to start gushing and proclaiming that my life changed with nirvana just to sound cool or make it appear as though i had a wonderful ride in my teens. that’s for poseurs (and i know some). *wink*

on another note, yes, i joined the “i-love-james-mcavoy” crusade, which musified macho has recently started. mcavoy made me bawl in becoming jane. he made it look so easy to fall in love with his passionate character. god knows what i would have done if i were jane. the movie is full of heart-breaking, “gasp i can’t breathe” scenes.

in any case, i hope this projected biopic of kurt won’t be as self-indulgent as gus van sant’s last days. sorry guys, i just couldn’t stomach all the long meditative shots. that movie was a waste of my time.
