Life, Friendship, and Wisdom

Realizing you do have friends who are willing to help even in your most pathetic “I’m willing to kiss your feet because I need help” moments, feels like bliss. Really. It’s as if everything suddenly fits into place. And the world becomes less monstrous. Then you start believing that there is hope after all. And that humanity is not at all doomed. And that the Universe is not out there to spin you in its wily web, rather, it is out there to weave patterns for you to read and understand why you are in such a mess in the first place. 😛

Life is beautiful in some cases. Most of the time, it is one hell of a drag. But we carry-on, we plod on, slouching towards our dream destinations (figurative or otherwise), celebrating minor victories along the way because they do count. And yet, we still need to remember that there is always some value in the cliché that you have to have the “serenity to accept the things you can’t change, to change the things you can, and have the wisdom to know the difference.” Because if you finally do have the wisdom, that’s the time you would know when to give up. 🙂
